So I was watching a video on how supposedly, video games screwed people over....but 8/10 of those stories were because the person either didn't understand how these games work, and screwed themselves....or that they accidentally saved over the only save file they had....Post here and be judged on whether it was really the games fault or your own...game breaking glitches and auto saves before death count as the game dicking you over..but you should have more than one save anyway ya goofballs xF multi save

Note that this is a DISCUSSION forum post, not a flame post....if I see arguments, I WILL inform the mods....now the main reason I created this topic, was to not blame a game for your own dumb actions, and to raise awareness to MAKE MULTIPLE SAVES AND EVEN HAVE BACKUP SAVES ON OTHER SAVING DEVICES

Autosaves are usually their own slot anyway, but I digress.

One thing that happened once was Need for Speed: Most Wanted, where I barely tapped a wall on the highway while running from cops, got sent into a tailspin, and then boxed in easily by the cops, getting busted and losing the car I'd dumped all of my savings into.  I just started over after that.

There's been more often times than not when I was playing ArmA 3 and I'd die to a random chair or prop in the map. It's happened to a lot of players which is why it's called getting ArmA'ed. It's honestly pretty funny in hindsight, but when it happens you kind of have to stand there and ask "wtf just happened..?"

Was playing 7 Days to Die.  Open world zombie game that works much like minecraft.  Was digging in a small pit that had some water in it.  Got done messing around and was walking back to the base and drowned standing in the middle of the street.

Think carefully when you want to buy a game because of nostalgia

GTA 4. I was riding down the highway on a motorcycle. This NPC rubs my beautiful Russian ass over and it causes me to fall off it. No biggie. Then he keeps driving forward. He tips me over and the bike landed so perfectly on his car, while it was running, and the wheel came down and grinded my face until I was dead.

To be fair, it was a rainy day in Liberty City, and he was driving a pedo van.
