Ok, so basically this is all the data I could get my paws on: 

Cloudsflare's delegate name servers for Furrtrax are

"nile.ns.cloudflare.com" (primary name server)  at ip 173.245.59.214

"reza.ns.cloudflare.com" (name server) at ip 173.245.58.217

The Address lookup entry is "furrtrax.com" pointing at both 104.28.26.152 and 104.28.27.152 (both hosting the domain "cdn.furrtrax.com")

The MX entry is 50.87.248.81 as mail server (mail.furrtrax.com) hosted at bluehost.com (also hosts the domains "main.furrtrax.com" and "ftp.furrtrax.com")

A quick search on the domain name "furr.me" brought up both 50.87.248.81 and 209.250.2.106

In conclusion, the real ip is very well hidden, good job!

50.87.248.81 is a multi-purpose clustered host
it hosts the following:
1.  The CDN source which is a sync off of all the profile pics and images, and some of the CSS style files
2.  The mailserver for webmail and user email
3.  Some backed up files

not sure why there is an FTP record there, i dont use FTP at all....only secure connections....lookin into that.

main.furrtrax.com was the Full Website durring the hard disk failure event, as in when the RAID system died, i moved us there temporarily, but its no longer used for that, so you found one of the old hosts.  That was the event this news post related to: http://furrtrax.com/indexsub.php?module=newsview&id=77

The reason cdn.furrtrax.com points to cloudflare just like the main domain is because i still use cloudflare to cache the CDN's imagery, to save bandwidth on the CDNs, and so the main server doesnt have to feed out all the image data, and process database work as well.

I just checked, there is no FTP.furrtrax.com dns record, but there is a wildcard record that points everything that isnt directly provisioned to the CDN server.

with the wildcard in there, fuck.furrtrax.com will go to the cdn, so will this.furrtrax.com that.furrtrax.com anything.furrtrax.com unless there is a specific record making the word go elsewhere, like in the case of mail, and cdn
